The reason for this is because there are a lot of foreign language fonts included with each operating system, and it's a lot of work to figure out which language they are for and when they are installed. I have removed the lists of foreign language fonts (non-latin) from this version of the article.

To make things more complicated, different Adobe CS5 programs install different sets of fonts. Adobe CS5 font screenshots were taken on Windows.
